Checking the profiles I find that I've got 8 years more dotage than you. Perhaps we could start an "Old Farts Club" section on the forum for the over 60's. Zimmer frames with Tx trays built in could be a useful offer to new members.

I only flew once at Dunstable Downs, also in the "Rog" era and a bit out of my way, but it was a great spot for the prevailing wind.

Yeah, the concept of an old farts section would be a great idea, so that these young whippersnappers can see that us old farts are still able to fly, as long as we keep taking them pills the nurse keeps going on about

Maybe they will believe that there really is still life over 35 then

For sure there is....

You can always tell the old farts, as they start every other sentence off with..

There I was ........... (make up your own lies)

And we can talk with authority about Chipmunks, Tiger Moths, grass runways, signal squares at aerodromes (Note - not called airports by us), and many of us can use a Dalton computer on our laps while flying an aircraft that does not even have a wing leveller, much less an autopilot......

But we still got just so much we can teach to others, ain't that right guys ?

Being that your all obviously so ancient and when you were kids were told to 'go play with the dinosaurs', does this mean us young uns from this century get to teach you about the wonders of 3d using a helicopter?
So much fun i'll bet you sell you zimmer frame for spares.
