Scale Fuselage

Well I have just bought my first fuselage for my Blade, after getting bored crashing from tricks I think I'm happier just generally flying about in sport so why not make it look pretty too.

I am sorry to say that I have gone down the old 'Airwolf' route but at least I have to build everything from scratch none of this ready made FG stuff.

I will post pics as I go and maybe even start a thread about building and fitting a fuselage but we'll see how it goes first lol.

me too, my blade mcx sale funded 95% of the cost so it only stands me at £5 lol, funjet on ebay @ mo for light kit

Will be watching with great interest - a full airwolf from scratch is quite a project squidge, so the best of luck with it, and make sure we get lots of piccies

Unfortunately the first pic I have is after I had glued it together but I can take a parts shot off the advert that I bought it from, I just modded it to take my own design for accessibility and gonna spray it tomoz if the weather is nice with its first coat of primer, needs a good sand first though.
It also didn't come with the gun pods so I contacted FastLads and bought some for the HeliArtist Airwolf fuselage as its 450 size so I'm going to utilise those when near the end, I also bought a finished Hughes 450 fuzz off ebay today as a tribute heli but I will be building this in my own time once Airwolf is done.

Right this is how far I have got, the last pic is not finished, the white you see is primer and needs a final white coat before lacquer, the wheels holes are just pilots and need cutting to fit once wheels are on.

That's quite a body Sqwidge, will your U/c be retracts or just fixed? Looking forward to seeing the next stage of completion.

I have a retract kit for it aswell as a gun pod kit, my army fuzz turned up this morning so have been playing with that as it requires no work just my heli being fitted, will post a pic once done.

This is my hughes update, It's mounted and flies except it's tail heavy slightly due to the fact it's made for a longer heli frame to balance the tail out, I test hovered last night and it looks awesome in the air, especially with all the nav lights on!!
All I need to do now is have it sprayed up in Army 'desert' colours and have my mate's name painted on it to make him the pilot and I'm done.
